I got this picture off of Steve and Deb's camera so that is why the post is late. We made her blow out 84 candles on three birthday cakes...she got them all out but not before the smoke alarm went off! She is such a great Grandma and we love having her so close to us!

Christmas Tree Time!
We had a very quiet Thanksgiving this year...just our little family, Grandma and Papa Christensen, Great-Grandma Christensen, and Aunt Janice. We were able to all sit around the table and pass the food instead of serving buffet style like we usually have to do because of the size of our average Thanksgiving dinners. After lunch we spent the rest of the day playing games and visiting. While it was fun...the girls got a little bored so that night we broke out the Christmas tree and put it up! The girls loved decorating the tree and having their picture taken. It's funny how a Christmas tree can instantly bring joy and love to your home (even when you have to leave the bottom 3 feet of tree undecorated for Abby's safety!).

new birthday cakes
Well- here are Kindy and Cash's B-day cakes! Kindy wanted a soccer ball and I thought, "no problem." But then I looked up a picture on the internet and made a pentagon stencil and started marking the fondant....the pentagons didn't fit together right so I kept trying different things all day and then I gave up and did a few black and white and then made the back of the ball a goal. After I was finnished I noticed that there are black pentagons, and the white ones are hexagons....I was ready to scream by that point so I just added the last few things and stepped away from the cake.
Then was Cash's- he wanted a basketball and it was so much better than the soccer ball. No stress, just fun. I added the score board to say the happy bday stuff and his age-11 and had him beating his sister who likes to mother him....I think he liked that.

Halloween 09!
This year Lila was Tinkerbell, Abby was a monkey and Hali was a butterfly! I tried to paint a sparkly mask on Hali's face but when she looked in the mirror she told me it didn't look cute and she wanted it washed off so this is her after the washings....it didn't all come off. Abby loved her costume and she looked so cute with her little bowlegged walk. Lila loves to be pretty and sparkly so Tinkerbell was perfect! We had a trunk or treat at the school on Friday night and a carnival....it was freezing outside. Then on Halloween Crea took the girls around and I stayed home to hand out the candy so the girls got to dress up twice! Hali told me that she wanted to have Halloween again today....we all had fun!
Pumpkins and Spaghetti!
Thursday the 29th was pumpkin carving night and Mel and the girls came over to carve 'em up! When Crea got home he made us all spaghetti so we could keep carving! Hali reached in her pumpkin ONCE, said, "It's slikery" and wouldn't touch it again.... Abby enjoyed gathering up all the fallen seeds and sucking on them.... and Lila wanted to do it all herself. Fun night!

Deer Camp 2009-----Lila
Lila was lucky and didn't get sick like Hali and Abby so she was able to spend a lot a time at the deer camp. She spent a few nights with Papa and Grandma in their trailer so she wouldn't have to come home with us. She was on a horse or a 4wheeler any chance she could get and she loved every second! Lila's front tooth has been really loose for a while so one day when Crea was up at camp with her he and Kyle yanked it out! Crea said that she screamed and cried but when she called to tell me about loosing another tooth she was excited to get it under her pillow so the tooth fairy would come. She loved having a few days off of school but she was excited to go back. She is a great student and such a great helper at home. We couldn't do without her.
Lila and Tori about 2 minutes after we got there!
